Online Degree Programs Are More Popular
Online college enrollments are increasing dramatically, as online degree programs become the more popular option for students.
Because of a repeal of a Federal rule, colleges and universities are no longer required to provide at least half of their instruction at a campus location. This is especially advantageous for public schools because: online degree programs bring in millions of dollars in revenues which, in turn, fund operations.
Another major source of the increased enrollments is employers. Employers benefit from the fast, economical convenience distance learning degrees offer employees. On average it takes most students only 2-3 years to complete the same level of quality education that normally takes 4 years to complete with a traditional on-campus program.
