Parvo In Laymens’ Terms
Canine parvovirus or in layman’s term the dog parvo virus is regarded as the most common serious infectious disease for dogs in the United States. Canine Parvovirus usually causes diarrhea and even ulcerative enteritis in susceptible dogs, commonly puppies and younger canines. This diarrhea is no push over and should not be taken lightly as it can pose the most serious symptoms and health risk to dogs. It may just be diarrhea but given the resistance and health capability of dogs, most especially young puppies it can turn out to be really bloody and even life threatening. The dog parvovirus has already mutated a couple of times and now has the CPV2-B as the most common strain plaguing dogs and owners with the virus.
