Continuing Education after Acquiring Massage Certification
Once you get hold of your massage therapist license and certification, the state will give you a list of the requirements needed and the NCBTM will provide you the list of those available continuing education hours that you need to renew your massage therapy license. Each state possess different standards, some states need to take a total of 500 hours coursework within two years. Massage certification is needed as one of the requirements to get you to other continuing education that will update your massage therapy skills and knowledge. With your continuing education, the state will see that you are further improving your practice making you deliver excellent service to clients.
