I would really love to take early retirement, and my company is offering this to people who are being laid off. However, I am paying child support and if I do this I won’t be able to afford to pay so much. Does the court ever reduce child support? I don’t want to go through all the trouble of looking for another job at my age. I wouldn’t be able to find anything that paid nearly as much as my old job anyways. What is the process that I would have to go through in order to see if I can get a lower amount of child support to pay?
