Is it Safe to Install a Gas Furnace in a Mobile Home?
My mother lives in a single wide mobile home. She has been heating her home with an electric furnace for many years. Every year, during the winter, she struggles the whole season to pay her electric bill. She would like to replace her electric furnace with a gas furnace. However, my uncle has been telling her that gas heat isn’t always safe for smaller mobile homes. I would like to find out if this is true or if she might actually be able to safely make the switch from electric to gas heat. If this would be possible, it would certainly help her tremendously on managing her budget.
