What if someone told you that the one thing you love more than anything could actually be your full time job? I was always sure that my job would be the thing that allowed me to spend time on my real passion but now I know that there are great jobs that can be mine and they are in the field of my real love. I love to play 18 holes each weekend when the weather is permitting and there are places I can go to golf college that will allow me to get a career going in that very field!

My son Joey has signed up for martial arts.  Joey has taken some karate lessons  when he was younger.  Joey wants to get back into it and needs to buy some martial arts shoes.  I am going to look on line for martial arts supplies to see if we can get the right size shoes for Joey.  He starts his lessons in two weeks so I hope I can find them, and get them ordered in time.  I heard that there is a shop that has great customer service and the shipping is fast.  I am going to check that site out first.

We were walking down the sidewalk on the main street of our town last weekend.  A group of young teens came out of one of the stores and started walking ahead of us.  I was about to remark to my wife about how well behaved they were when suddenly they started rolling instead of walking.   It was as if they were wearing skate shoes and could suddenly transform from walking to rolling without batting an eyelash.  I have to admit that I was somewhat jealous that they had them and I did not but then I had to admit that if I were wearing them I would probably fall over.

My sister almost got herself into some serious trouble last night. She saw a man standing on the side of the road hitchhiking. It was raining and he seemed like a nice guy, so against her better judgement she stopped and asked him if he wanted a ride. He said that he did, but as soon as he got in the car he put a knife to her throat. Luckily, though, she had taken some Indianapolis Martial Arts classes. She was able to use some of the moves she learned to get out of his grasp and subdue him. At that point, she called the police and they were there within a few minutes.
