Document Certification Process
Certification Document needed for export of goods to the US. The reason why certification documents are required when sending products to the US is to make sure the documents such as certificate of origin, shipping manifest and invoice are true and correct. This is to ensure that the products being shipped are legally allowed for the country it is being shipped to. This is why it is important to have a Notary Public sign off on the documents before exporting them. If this was not done then the government would have to trust the person who’s exporting it solely on what’s written, the Notary Public adds another level of security for the customs agents.
