Aptera is an electric three wheeler car and has a unique teardrop shape . Three hundred miles per gallon and a Jetsons-style look are enough to get anyone curious and awaited. Aptera has two innovative models that are almost production-ready at thirty thousand dollars and below, the all electric, one twenty-mile-range Typ-1 e will hit a three hundred mpg. A more conventional third model is also awaiting which is , called “Project X” or perhaps Typ-2, is now in the design phase, with plans for a four-wheeled chassis and seating for up to five passengers instead of two.
The Aptera takes a wide, three-point stance that makes the vehicle very stable and comfortable, yet very agile. Push on the throttle, turn the wheel and the Aptera’s neutral chassis carves through corners like it’s on rails.
