Cricket Practice Leads to Home Insurance Claim

My son’s school started giving the kids cricket lessons this term and now my son is cricket mad. It seems that he might have a lot of promise as he has taken to the sport well and has already been asked to play in the older boys’ team. He has always been good at sport and plays on the school teams for football and basketball, so we are not too surprised he took to cricket as well. The only problem with his new found love for this sport is that he always wants to be practicing. My husband bought him a cricket set which my son adores, and is constantly playing with. This is until last week however when he threw a ball to one of his friends whilst playing in the back garden and it went straight through the lounge window. We have had to make a claim on our home insurance to get it fixed and there has been a ban on ball games, which has made everyone a bit grumpy.
